Twin force battery tray dimensions?

i know this might be a bit of a Simple thread, but i would like to know what the maximum size battery that can fit in the Kyosho Twin Force Tray..

PS. How much can lipo batteries compress if u were to squeeze them?

The max internal dimensions for the twin force battery trays are 48 x 160 mm, with a height of 23 mm. You could make a spacer to use taller batteries. I would not try to compress any lipo, you could short it out. I have crashed lipos in planes and dented them with no problems, but why take a chance.

well my batteries are 150x50x37, i can make a spacer for height, but do u think that extra 2mm in width will hurt anything if i were to stuff it in there? or am i better off just knocking one of the sides off the battery tray?

The plastic is pretty soft, it may spread a little. I think someone else managed to get 50mm batts into one.

yay i actually got it just now, i had to shave off the mounting tabs for the top bar cuz my batt is too tall, ill get pics later

I cut off all the tabs and use a strap across the top.

I am really interseted in getting these for my e-savage. But I am not sure if they will work due to where my wires exit on my maxamps batteries, right in the center of one of the ends coming up. If that makes any sence.
