no, but you can get second one for free from spektrum if you fill out some form and send it to them, check their website

I think you have to buy an extra then you get one free...

Correct. Their promotion only applies if one purchases a radio system and a separate Rx also. If one were to buy the DX3R and another Rx, one could mail in the rebate form for a free Rx of the same kind as the extra Rx that was purchased.

I thought I read you only had to buy a receiver to get the rebate. I had thought about buying just a receiver to take advantage of the offer since I can't afford the remote yet and buy it later...

Actually, that's fine too. It has to be either a module system or radio system plus an extra Rx in order to send in for a free Rx.

Well I ordered a DX3R from Impaktrc.com but it looks like that offer is only good when you buy it through horizon hobby so that sux. I hope it comes with atleast one though, lol.

Actually, it can be purchased from any authorized dealer of Spektrum products. Impaktrc is listed on the Spektrum website as an authorized dealer, so if you bought an extra Rx, you should be eligible for a free Rx.

BTW, it does include 1 SR3100 Rx with the DX3R radio system.

No I actually work with Chinooks, lol. Close though. And its a honor being able to do what I do...... Sometimes, lol :)

It's all cool stuff to me. I was recently at Ft Eustis in VA working on the new VUIT-2 system for the Apache (I'm an EE at Lockheed Martin). I enjoyed getting to see the guys doing maneuvers with with Blackhawks while I was up there. Although I saw the Chinooks, none were flying while I was up there.
