maxxdude1234 09.05.2005 05:41 PM

Thats just screaming for a disjustingly poweful brushless system.....

Gustav 09.05.2005 06:10 PM

The HPI engineers have been busy then.

A small detail but i like how the diff outdrives sit on bearings in the diff cup rather than the usual metal on metal.

dabid 09.06.2005 02:35 AM

I'm in love......certainly more detail put into it than buying a cheap 1/5 from a Chinese distributor and slapping your name on it......::COUGH:: Duratrax and XTM ::COUGH:: :D

EDIT: Just noticed they went with an 8mm thick chassis, holy cow will that sucker be durable!

Sneeck 09.06.2005 10:44 AM

Yeah and 2wd. AGAIN!!

I can't beleave there are so many 2wd lawnmower powered bigscale's. It is a nice design, but comon, a true offroad must atleast have 4wd.

Maxxdude,

You mean something like this?

http://hometown.aol.de/M0Wurst/IMG_1713.JPG

(yes that is a bigmaxximum on the left)

http://hometown.aol.de/M0Wurst/Big5_1-001.jpg

Allthough that's an 1:5 onroad, i'm sure it'll fit in any 1:5

Serum 09.06.2005 12:22 PM

Ouch.. You hurt my feelings Sneeck..

That is one UGLY car... ( i simple don't like those 1/5th 2stroke cathedrals..)

Sneeck 09.06.2005 12:34 PM

I hope you can forgive me but I couldn't find an offroad bigscale with such a massive bl motor.

Serum 09.06.2005 12:35 PM

The 2280....

Serum 09.06.2005 12:36 PM

I can forgive you quite easy sneeck..

coolhandcountry 09.06.2005 01:00 PM

I would like to see a better pic of that 1/5 on road with the fat plettenberg. How many batteries do you run?

Serum 09.06.2005 01:02 PM

It's not his, it's a german experiment..

I would put my money on a 2280 over that baggybigmaxximum (as investment)

coolhandcountry 09.06.2005 01:05 PM

OH! The 2280 is not small motor either. I like power. Big motor means big power. :)

Dafni 09.06.2005 01:39 PM

Uh oh. We have everything converted here. We have a Jato, Savages, Buggies, an MGT, LST, Revos, HB Lightning, HPI MT .... but for this one, well, I think we have to draw lots.

:L:

Serum 09.06.2005 01:52 PM

i told you about my brushless Volvo?

Dafni 09.06.2005 01:57 PM

LOL Trunk, back-seat and passenger-seat full of NiMH cells?!? :L: Does it wheelie?
