Disabiling internal bec on mm esc question..

To disable the internal bec all I have to do is cut/remove the red wire?

Just so I am crystal clear, do I open the case and remove it inside or can I just cut the wire from the RX plug..

you can just pull the red wire out of the servo connector

^Yup. Just use a razor edge or other fine point to lift the locking tab on the receiver connector while tugging on the red wire. Usually it will pop right out.

Exactly how it is done. When you get the connector out, just fold it back and pt some heatshrink or tape over it. It will still be live, the reason to remove it is to remove the load place on the internal bec by the rec and servos. That stops it from producing as much heat, which keeps the esc cooler.
