can 6.5mm bullet plugs fit onto feigao xl motors?

i need to order some bullet plugs from castle creations for my 7xl feigao and was wondering if the 6.5 would fit. i just pre ordered the mmm and i will be using the 7xl on that for the meantime. i want to use the 6.5 because im not sure what ill be doing with the mmm in the future. but if 5.5 are the max size that will fit on the 7xl, will 5.5 be good enough for the mmm running jus 4s 5000 lipos in series?

I use 6.5 on my 7XL. Just feed extra solder in the plug if gauge wire is a little to thin.

where are you guys gettin' the 6.5mm plugs from.. How many amps are they rated for?... probably close to 200A? I just switched all my batteries and ESC over to 6.0mm... I didn't even know there was a 6.5mm bullet.. crap. I wonder if the 6.5mm plug can take 8AWG with ease.. 8 gauge was a little too hard to fit onto the 6.0mm...

Castle sells them 6.5mm bullets.

And I am pretty sure the MMM come with 6.5mm plugs as well...

Yes aqwut,

They are rated 200amps

I usually strip a little more than what is needed to solder with and fold the motor wire over to make it thicker.

i dont think the first batch of mmm will include the 6.5 bullets....only wires i hear.
i minus well buy the 6.5 bullets for my 7xl if the mmm wires are suppose to have 6.5 anyways. but what do you guys think, would i be good enough with the 5.5mm on both the 7xl and mmm? im prolly only gonna run 4s. only reason is because the wires on the 7xl might be too skinny to use them and i think the 5.5 might be easier to solder on than 6.5??? any suggestions

I had no trouble soldering mine; although I do use an 80watt iron. Like I said you just need to feed extra solder in, or folding over the wire sounds like a good idea too, then use a single piece of shrink over them. Here’s a pic of mine.

the 5.5s are plenty, but if you do deciede to use the 6.5s folding the wire does sound like a good idea
