6mm UE CVDs
my recently installed 7xl on 14 cells broke the coupler on one of the axle CVDs and is making the hole in the rear center CVD oblong. Do you think the UE 6mm steel will be better at withstanding the torque? I like the design of them versus the dowel hole in the axle as a drive pin for the 14mm hex.

Which cvds do you have? The UE cvds are probably the toughest available, so regardless of which cvds you have, the UE cvds will likely be a bit stronger.

I have the MIPs currently.

MIPS are pretty tough, too. I think I have rebuild kits for the MIPs, if you want to go that route. The UE cvds are stronger, though.

I didn't see the UE forum section before. Would have been a nice place for this thread. :o
any updates to stocking the GMaxx single speed conversion or progress on the FLM EMaxx tranny? |
