MMM, MAH and X1-CRT
I JUST BOUGHT 4 MAXAMPS 5S 3000MAH PACKS FOR MY BL X1-CRT, I DON'T HAVE MY MMM YET SO I CAN'T TEST THEM. WILL I SEE ANY SPEED DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MY 3000MAH PACKS AND A 5000MAH PACK?

The voltage gives you horsepower and the MAH tells you how long it can give power for.
A 5S 3000mah pack gives the same amount of power as a 5S 5000mah pack. Just the 5000Mah pack will last longer. Both are 18.5 volts. One of the differences is the extra weight. |
If they're both 20c then the 3000 will probably drop voltage a bit more since they're rated to 60 amps, and the 5000's are rated to 100 amps. I would think 20c (according to maxamps) 3000's would be a bit stressed in a truggy, even with 5s.

Double up the packs - CRT really supports a rotated diff with twin packs at the back...
5s 6000mah... no issues with bats then... |
I had a 3000 5s maxamps pack. It could not handle a c50 14l in a ls10, so I would say that a pair of them in parallel would be required for your truggy.
