I think it's cool how Castle linked to Mike's store for the 5mm bore pinions (not too fond of the red background on the MMM page though.....heh).

Yeah I got one ordered yesterday....so we'll see when it actually gets here.

Im waiting for it to come instock on tower or at my LHS before I order. Im pretty patient wen it comes to waiting for the MMM because its been delayed for so long already that it wouldnt make much of a difference anyways.

YeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaa ordered my MMM today.Hopefully by the time I get it it will stop raining.

Yeah, what is it with the rain lately?! Ugg. The lawn needs to be mowed but am afraid I'll sink into the mire! The weather in general is messed up! Lately, it's been sort of warm-ish in the AM but getting into the 60's-70's by afternoon. So today, I wore shorts/t-shirt (casual day Friday at work) thinking the pattern would hold, and it's now in the mid 40's! Brrr...

Ya we had that same storm front go threw about 3 hours ago and man it was a kicker. We had 2 tornado touchdowns 1 mile south of us and you could hear it plain and clear. Sounded like an f16 flying closely to your house. Only bad thing was I couldnt see anything. The rain was coming down in sheets and their was way to much lightning/wind to even attempt to go outside.

I don't want to seem to 'out there', but supposedly there is a Planet X that has a very long elliptical orbit (something like thousands of years for one cycle). Alot of people are saying that it is coming back inside the solar system. It is said to be a very faint object (but supposed to be large body) as it is thought to be a 'brown dwarf', so it would be more in the infrared spectrum of light.
Most of the ancient civilizations show a 10th planet/body in a 'solar system' drawings, such as the ancient Egyptians. The Mayans as you may know have there calender end on Dec 21/2012 which may or may not be the 'turn around' for the Planet X/celestial body? Nostradamus (philosopher), said ~ 500 years ago that the world would end on 2012. There is much more evidence suggesting 'something' is going to happen fairly soon; and alot are saying it's going to wreak havok on earth's weather patterns and bring on near extinction level events. There are alot of things that are totally undeniable, such that literally every civilization has written/cave drawings/or tails of "the great flood"; after all, even the bible speaks of the 'great flood', and 'noahs ark'... although probably drastically altered to fit the Christian 'tall tail'.

Anybody have any idea what the MMM may handle with a UBEC?? Maybe 8S or more?

my guess is it wont make a difference since the BEC that comes with the MMM is a switching model and not a passive style

I think the thing people are concerned about is that the switching BEC built into the MMM may be based off the Castle BEC, which is rated up to 6s...
