New 1/8 pan car Project

I scored me a 1/8 Pan Car from Ebay, which I found by accident. I have no clue who manufactured it. It does have Cobra near the rear axle, but can't find no info on the web at all. Anybody got a clue who made suchs a thing?

I ran it today after transferring my rustler electronics over. Rustler got on my nerves after twisting 3 jato shafts within days.

Ran it for a minute and half today and the caps got to 104F, sucked 130A and produced 1000W with 3s2p A123 for now.

The first pic gives you and idea how big this thing is. That's my son's yellow zipzap beside the camaro.

Here you go http://www.teamcobra.com/cobra/

that car is from the early 90's .

I think that is acctually a 235mm 1/10 pan car you have. I gave DAFNI a 235mm 1/10 pancar from associsated. It looks almost the same size.

Thanks RCHippie. I couldn't find it on the Cobra site, so I wasn't sure who built it. My LHS where convince that it was an associated car. The WB is about 12", whereas the Fine Design camaro is 10.5", so I figured it was a 1/8 scale Pan Car. This thing is about 10" wide. So if it was from the early 90's, did it run on "C" cells?!!

No problem glad i could help . Yes sub cells is what we used . We used 1200 & 1400 sanyo scr's back in the day. We prayed we could make the 4 minutes . It's deffinetly not a associated car. Dafni has my old rc10L wide car. Maybe he can post a pick for you. It also looks alot like a Bolink car. The cobra car & bolink car looked alot alike, so thats also a possibilty.

Last Sunday I dragraced it a bit. On 3s2p A123 it ran 57mph in 132Ft with the 8L hacker motor. I'll be swapping in a xl lehner for more umphh and see how what it does coming Sunday.
