which rims to pick for 2.2 moabs?
 

Hey Guys and Gals.

I've decided on the 2.2 moabs and am looking at my choices at rims to mount them on.

Any suggestions? No aluminum please.

Truck? Basher? Crawler? What do you want to do with them? I've always been cheap and gone with Pede wheels, $4 a pair was good enough for me, but I got what I paid for pretty much.

try the RPM or HPI , I forget what company makes the Clawz

RPM makes the Clawz. To me, the rims I pick depend upon how much money I am willing to spend. I have been getting the Traxxas dish rims, just because they are REALLY cheap. But, the edges do seem to like to chip a little bit sometimes. Otherwise, they are great, lightweight wheels.

I want some rims that will hold up but don't want aluminum.

I figure anything under $20 a pair is o.k. anything cheaper even better.

Yeah if they are going on a stampede I would suggest the original white ones dyed black. Here is a pic of my stampede with all-ts and black rims.
