NEU for crt.5
 

Hello,
what neu do you guys recommend for a crt.5 using a 3s lipo, extended chassis and 2.2 truck shoes. running on a 1/8th track.

I'd go with a 1509 ( 4000+ rpm). Get the smooth can, since the finned ones won't make that huge of a difference.

i was looking at the 3600 rpm neu. would you use the rcm heatsink also? waht starting pinion would you recommend?

The Neu's can is bigger than normal motors, so the rcm heatsink will not fit.

Start with the stock gearing and either decrease or increase the number of pinion teeth to your likes from there.
