different type of HV problem..

anyone ever have a STUTTERING(not glitching) problem with their HV..??..........has run(in competition) fine until today. then applying quick throttle, the motor stutters and barely revs. but, when i slowly roll onto the throttle, it revs up completely. every connection has been triple checked. nothing loose and no frayed wires. not a gearing/thermal issue. batteries fresh and peaked. the symptoms are the same even with the pinion pulled. bottom line is that all of a sudden, the system seems to not like heavy, qiuckly applied throttle. not a binding, glitching of thermal issue........

Sounds like s ensor problem. I would send it back to Novak. They are pretty good with support.

My brother had that problem. It was his capictor. He put another one it and bam. Ran like it was new.

It could be the capacitor!

Because, the small pulses that the controller takes from the batts are a voltage killer for Nimh's/Nicds, they simple drop in voltage when they do.. You could try mounting a capacitor

True, the capacitor could be the trouble as well. It wouldn't hurt to try this first for sure.
