Teckno said that they would not be making a muggy mount? I would buy the rcm regardless.

nah, I checked with them offline; they're not making a muggy chassis (the new kits are all tekno specific chassis), but the mount will work with most anything; you just have to drill mounting holes in your chassis, assuming it all fits. In the right spot that is....

I like the tekno b/c it supports the whole motor, which is good for:
-the gears
-minimizing chassis flex
-less stress on the motor

BUT, it isn't out yet, and I may mess up those holes that need to be drilled, and it does add even more weight to the muggy (though only ~2.5oz), and it has to cut down on cooling (though it won't matter much with a finned Neu). RCM mount sure is easiest though.

Haven't dealt with Tekno products & I thought they said only doing for 8 $ 8T, so RC-Monster

I'm still waiting for Mike to make the Muggy/Sportwerks adapter so I can finally get my Turmoil running. He's been too busy with RCX and now he's busy with the Monster orders, but hopefully he'll have them done this month.

I was wanting the rcm one as well, for my turmoil. Got tired of waiting, and just fabbed one up myself that is getting the job done fine, but when he gets them back in stock I am still planning to pick one up for a cleaner set up. I don't think It can be beat for a clean simple set up.
