Do you wear RC Brand Clothing?
Do you wear RC Brand clothing? Weather it be out shopping, at the pub or just at the track?
I laughed when I first saw the thread , but I am also actually kind of curious how many others wear rc brand clothing. I don't have any myself, so I voted NO...
I do but only the free shirts that you get at some races and stuff to support my lhs.
I do because all my sponsored friends give me the shirts, so I get all the team clothing
nope...
i dont want to show off how nerdy i am to the public:party::party: |
I do; I have a Mamba Max t-shirt among some other stuff...
Bye:smile: |
I would if I had some....and it wouldn't bother me to wear it out. Take pride in what you love to do...if no one else likes it too bad for them. If they have to ask, they wouldn't get it anyway:rofl:
Sometimes... some of the shirts are pretty cool, lke any other screen print logo T you see out there. Bu the cheezy toy car pic track shirts can stay at home, lol
Yes. Wearing one right now (Mamba). Over half of my t-shirts are either factory, personal, or event shirts. I have a lot of event shirts.
I would if they were free. Otherwise, why should I buy a shirt to advertise for a company when most companies pay good money for advertising.
If I had access to $10 T's or $15 sweatshirts I waer then all over.
Nerd Pride Rules They should add one to every order and see how sales are in one year. It makes a difference to get people to wear your stuff. It has to be super cool though, no toy stuff. |
Voted no also. Free advertising - I won't let car dealer put dealership sticker on a car I'm buying for the same reason. Someone wants to make tees available cheap that has their advertising, would consider it, but not for full price.
I do sometimes. I have lots of free t-shirts from events, races and hobby shops that i've been to as well as some that i have paid for. I see no difference in wearing a favorite sports team logo shirt/clothing or any other branded clothing including RC.
Exactly. Most t-shirts people wear are this type of "free" advertising. You buy a shirt (Adidas, Nike, NASCAR, NFL....) because you like it, not because they give it to you or pay you to wear it. Not only that, but people pay a lot $$ for the brand shirts.
What Maxamps does is very cool... they sell their shirts very cheap, basically at cost... $5.00. I think that's a good idea for r/c companies. Even if there is a little profit on them, imo make it a good deal. Some companies have their stuff priced like a Nike shirt. Even $10 would be a fair price and help pay for some other promo stuff, etc. |
i got one that says my monster truck is faster than your monster truck
