Good for HV-Maxx ... ?

Hello,

I found those Lipo`s at www.maxamps.com

-------------------------------------------------

Lipoly 6300mah 2S3P 7.4V Pack 112,99 $
High Capacity Low Voltage for Ultra long Runtime at lower voltage
6300mah Capacity
7.4 Volts
35mm X 196mm X 26mm
Rated at 90 Amp Constant Discharge
Rated at 120 Amp Burst for 10 seconds
361 grams

-------------------------------------------------

What do you think ? Two of them (14,8V) must be perfect for the HV-Maxx-System !?

What means "2S3P" ?

Any help would be good.

Thanks in forward and with greetings from Germany

Okay, I explained the 2S3P bit via PM, hope you get this.
About suitability for BL... well, the real gurus will have to help you there.
I would say in principle it works fine, but the extended runtime may put more stress (heat) on your motor. Just keep an eye on the temps.

Yeah, no problem. the hvmaxx doesn't take that much amps..

It is a good pack from what i can see, and know about the maxamps lipoly.. (use them for my mini-t too)

If you sign up, you'll get a 5 percent discount as well..

Just get a low voltage alarm (3V per cell minimum) and a good charger to load them again.

Thanks for the answers !

Mike, Serum and all other Lipo fans, what do you think of those packs?? The numbers are nice. Any experience or suggestion?

the amp ratings look good. the only thing I would be concerned about is the lenght of the pack.

On paper they look like they should do the trick, but the batteries are almost 8 inches long, so fitting them may be a problem.

Thats right - that seem to be the problem - I saw it to late.
