running the revo at the track today and popped off lid for temp check, ok the - lead on my ubec is off? the reciever is still working? mm bec unconnected? anyone wanna help me with my maddness?:surprised:

Hmmmm... You sure the MM BEC is disconnected? The middle red wire isn't plugged in to the receiver?

All of the black/brown wires on your receiver are all connected together so it was probably connected to the negative of the battery through the black wire on your esc.

well thats what i gathered it had to be grounded some where, why even have a wire there then?

it was never a problem just saying it worked with the - wire removed, i resoldered it and its all good

it ran with the negative wire dissconnected yes, wierd i know
