general brushless question
 

i found a good deal on some 12v mini cpu fans to use as a fan over my motor, but i'm running a 3s. Is that van too high a voltage? should i go to a lower voltage fan?

No 3s will be fine - you will have a V slight overvolt to start with but generally will be running undervolted...

do you think it'll take away from any performance?

I think what he meant was that there will be a very slight (~0.6V) overvoltage because 3S packs come off the charger at about 12.6V. After a couple of minutes of running, the pack voltage will go below 12V.

Im running my 2 40mm 12v fans of two 9v batts in series, they hold up fine
