New Neu motors?
 

Looking at the Castle Creations page for the new monster max i noticed they recommend the 1512/1Y 2,750Kv on 4s max. On castle's spec page ( http://www.castlecreations.com/produ...rs/nm1500.html ) they show TBD in a couple of the fields. Is this a newer motor they are offering? I just fried my 8xl which provided pretty decent speed on the track, but if i buy a new motor i was looking to get just a little more. The 1512/1y or the 1512/2D seemed to be enough of a jump in KV without going crazy. Anyone run either or both of these that has some good advice as to which worked better? This will be in a buggy running 4s used for racing on a fairly large track.

I would go with the 2D, just be sure you have room to gear it for the speed you need, the neus are bigger than the XLs.
