Slipper Rebuild Kits
 

it appears that Traxxas has discontinued the slipper kits, and have a new style that includes a heavy spring that when installed on an electric setup it is , used instead of the 2 bent washers that face each other....I am wanting to rebuild mine but I need to set some time aside to do so, just wondering if anybody has done so yet and if so did you notice any differences?

Traxxas classifies the bent washers as meant for nitro trucks, and the spring for electrics. The last slipper rebuild kit I bought (2 weeks ago) came with both options.

I had an older kit that had only the bent washers and they have since discontinued that model and now have the one with the heavy spring
