Interesting.
Considering his prices has has a few items that look interseting. His motors, controllers, and Lipos are comparable to others that many of us use, at 1/3 the price we are paying the big name places. It would be interesting to here if anyone has tried these out and how well they hold up in our 1/8 and 1/10 vehicles.

That's what I'm waiting for. Specially when the guy that makes them told me the HV ones can have the car software loaded on them and they use that nice little program box. Here is what the company offers:
6S controllers 100A 120A 150A 10S controllers 80A 100A 120A Now the only problem is that a lot of the places tell me they can do a car model of what they offer, but as soon as I ask them to send me one to try out they back off and say it can't be done. I sent the guy an e-mail asking a few questions like: 1. Will the controllers perform good with 4 and 6 pole slotted motors like a Neu Motor or a Mega Motor? 2. Will the controllers include a program box? 3. Will the controllers have a heat sink and fan? 4. What is the warranty on the controllers if they fail? Lets see what he comes back with. |
Ooh... A 10s controller with (relatively) high amperage... I'm sure I could sink my teeth into a few of those. Lutach, does the manufacturer have a web address?

Info
Well the controller in that link has a heatsink and fan attached to it in the photo. We can only assume that the photo is relevent to the item being sold. The ebay add also shows that a program card is included in the sale as per the remark of (included in package) comment. The specs also say 2S to 5S Lipos. With that price I am willing to bet that it is made in China, and as far as a warrenty is concerned enforcing it would be difficult at best. Like the saying goes you get what you pay for. What can anyone expect for $100, when we know that a comparable controller sells for what? $250 to $400. I would think that it will probably do ok, but the life expectancy is probably not that great.

I've found some more like these, looks kind've like a Warrior ESC http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/200A-Brushless...QQcmdZViewItem

Did You See.
Did you see the price on that thing? That is like $25 plus shipping for a 200 amp controller. Like I said they are selling directly from China. He has a few items of interest, but the prices are like something out of a Dollar store. Too good to be true I think. Anyone feeling lucky enough to jump on that and Buy one????

Think
We can all think of reasons to buy, or not to buy, but until there are some real stats/specs testing to compare it to other controllers it's all speculation. What is being asked is if anyone either has or will try one out. I am sure that there are some that would love the chance to test it out and even disect it to see what it is made of. Maybe one of the "Big Dogs" (like BrianG, or lutach) on here can contact this guy and request one for testing and comparison for marketing purposes within our R/C community?
