Which NEU for my 10.5v Lithium-Ion
Actually upgrading the cordless Dremmel to a Neu isn't in hte budget at this time. Was hoping someone would know where to get another motor for it. Got some wobble coming from the motor shaft, looks like the bearing are going out. The one in it is a Johnson and has this stamped on it....
2610919751 Johnson 3d4144 When I search those #'s on the Johnson website there's no match. I measured it at 28x46 the ones Johnson lists are for printers. I haven't emailed them yet. In the past I've stumbled across other web sites that sell some dc motors. Anyone got a link they recommend to try to find a replacement? I'm a basher so top speed really isn't as important as durability and run time. |

sometimes it isnt worth trying to repace a compenent but to just replace the whole tool, I have that same Dremel and I am dissapointed with it, I will be buying a corded model in the future |
I like my dremel but I do have a couple other corded models that pick up the slack. Before I got into this hobby anything of this nature was a disposable product. Now it seems it is more of a challange. A replacement motor isn't going to be too much $ the hardest part will be removing the dremel portion from the motors shafts. Any ideas on that? Other then that it's just a couple of connections. It will be worth it if these dremels still go for close to 100 buck.
