Brush Motor Temps

Do Brushed motors run hotter than Brushless? Got told that Brushless Motors should run between 100F- 150F, is that the same with Brushed Motors? Where is the best place to take the temp? I notice today that the endbell was 30F hotter than the motor

Brushed motors do run hotter, arcing and friction between the brush and comm are a big heat generator.

plus they are just less heat efficient in general.
