10xl on 6 cell lipos
 

hey does any one know how many amps a 10xl motor well draw on 6 cell lipos???

If you are gearing a truggy for 40mph or so it will draw around 80amps.

kinda wanted to gear it for high speeds.

I would venture 100A or so peak, but its kinda a wide open question. It will pull as many amps as the batts put out and the load demands. What is safe? 120A or so maybe...

Ok, for higher speeds go with something quality that is capable of 100 amps. That is 2200 watts, so around 3hp.
