O..what battery?

Well I have finnaly blown up my MA packs, and now looking for a better pack. I was thinking on this..http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXRWB0&P=7 125 amps constant not bad. I do want at least a 20 min run time.( hyper 7 with 8xl) They are about 2 cm longer than the MA packs but I would like your opnions. Any sugestions

Well from all the information I've gleaned in my battery research, MA are close to the bottom of the pack, and flightpowers are pretty much as good as you get. I think they will be fine, and a vast improvement over what you had.

That is a good pack, the 4900 25c packs are closer in length to the maxamps, and perform just as well as the 5000 packs.

Get the Neuenergy 25C (125 continuous) 5S 1P 5000maH from Diversity Model Aircraft for $221.

Cheaper than tower hobbies. I bought my Neuenergy batteries from him and shipping is fast too.

my vote is for the FP pack they are top notch, the True RCs are good bang for the buck but are not on the same level as a FP

brushlessboy16 05.31.2008 01:29 PM

Best bang for the buck would be Zippy's though

Cool I wonder why the 5000s are longer than the 4900s by 1.5 cm . Are the 5000s 2p or 1p

Or if your all going to bail on the rcm store to get bottom dollar, just get 4s 5000 PQ packs from hobbycity for $157 each.

that would depend on your setup, but a total of 35 mins would be pushing it, as long as your rig is very light and geared low
