Does Medusa make a motor that would work in a monster truck on 4 or 5s w/the mmm esc

Just wondering if they made a larger motor for my t-maxx. I know that they make one for that works in a buggy.

Not yet, but they will have a 70mm long motor in a couple months aparently- 2000-2200kv will be good for 4-5s lipo.

Cool ... I will have to be patient...not...thanks for the heads up!

I have heard they will have one to test in a couple months. Could be a bit longer than that before release.

Now just a few weeks ago people were saying the 60 would work fine, now that they've said something about the 70 your saying the 60 isn't?I believe ,from what others have said about the 50 that the 60 will do good.I don't think it will be to overly torquey like a 1515,but will get the job done nicely. Now if I've missed something lately, please forgive me,but please inform me so I can get it right.

I'll let others chime in with their opinion, but I feel a monster needs the longer motor. A lighter truggy could use the 60mm, but a MT needs 70.

I have a 60mm 1500kv version to try in my maxx. According to linc it should be fine and puts out more power than the align 600XL I am currently using and the 600xl has plenty of power.

Yeah, 60mm is okay, but 70mm will be best by far- being as they 4 pole motors then 60mm version is very similar to a neu 1512, so....

It all depends on gearing and weight. If you have a heavy truck and want it to go fast then you need a big motor, like a 1515 or larger (or possibly a low kv feigao xl and 8s lipo). If your mt is light, then the medusa 60, or a 1512 or a feigao xl will do. More info on the intended setup would be necessary.

I plan on keeping things on the lighter side.Right now I have a emaxx 3905,no aluminum, with a hv4.5 that I'm pretty happy with.I'd like some extra torque and a little more speed. But I will either do the erevo or a truggy conversion and pass the maxx to my son.I'd like to carry this motor on with me. I have a 70mph vehicle thats uncontrollable,I don't need 2,but 50 on 5s would sure be nice, and you know how that goes....
