do you guys run your batteries towards the front or back?
just curious to see who places their batteries in the front or back. what i mean is do you have that rubber spacer thing towards the front or back of truck. if you can explain why, and if you notice any differences please tell.
i have a 3905 emaxx and my batteries towards the back, just seems more balanced that way since the motors and servos and receivers are in the front. im not sure if i could tell any difference when i had it in the front though.. maybe you guys cant tell me the advantages and disadvantages. all i know is if you have the batteries more towards the front, you get better steering , and in the back, you get better grip/handling... what else and is this true for the emaxx? that was in my Team associated manuel for the T3. |
Front to cut down on wheelies in my LST2.

rubber spacer? dont got one of them :P In my revo I dont have a lot of choice, further forward is better cuz of the wheelies though. In the rusty at the front on the pavement to stop wheelies, at the rear on the dirt for traction...
|
Well a T3 is RWD so running the battery in the back will be a better advantage for the grip so all the weight can be at the back wheels.
Do you use the EMAXX for bashing around or at the track? |
thats true, its for bashing on mainly dirt, loose rocks pebbles...construction site areas.
|
For what you are doing it doesn't really matter. I'll prolly go fwd for str and wheelies, but if you jump it and it nose dives, I'd push it back.
|
true there also...yea my truck nose dives alot.. so far its pretty even between the front and back. back seems to be a tad better for me now...the steering and wheelies dont bother me all tooooo much.
