My Vendetta collection

I figured you guys might enjoy these. I know they are pretty much toys compared to the rest of the trucks we usually talk about, but they hold their own vs much larger rc's. I just recently cleaned them both, so they look nice for the pics. Hope you enjoy.

Buggy:
- Neu 1105/2Y (5200kv)
- Quark 33 pro car
- 2s dualsky 1300mah 25C
- pbs conversion and random tuning parts.

ST:
- Neu 1105/2.5Y (4000kv)
- CC Sidewinder micro
- 3s Dualsky 1300mah 25C
- random tuning parts.

Cool! They look pretty sharp. I own 1 mini and have to say it is fun. You are not lying when you say they hold there own. To be honest i am just as hard on my mini than i am on my larger r/c and i break the larger ones more.

Very nice, very tidy setup, what run time and speed do you get out of them?

rschoi_75 06.06.2008 06:01 PM

Thanks, the buggy is geared at 19/45 and speeds are around 35mph on 2s with a solid 20 minutes. I could gear taller to 19/41, but that's a little too much for me.

The ST is geared 16/45 on 3s and is slightly faster than the buggy. I get about 25 minutes with the st since this set-up pulls less amps.

Nice rides, rschoi!

My fav mini is also my 'Detta - been thru heck and back a time or two, lol.

Great little cars, its usually what I grab when I've only got an hr to play.

Nice looking rigs....how do you like the ST...I was thinking of getting one for my daughter. Are there a good supply of hop ups available?

rschoi_75 06.07.2008 12:21 PM

The ST is a cool little truck, but it needs an additional $60-70 in upgrades to handle brushless motors. There are a decent amount of hop-ups available, but no where near what the rc18t has. If you plan to do a lot of upgrading, get the ST. Its probably the most capable mini after upgrades. If you want to stick with a stock truck, I'd suggest the m18mt rtr.

Those look great!! How did you get the aluminum to look so clean (non-blue)?

rschoi_75 06.09.2008 12:16 PM

lots of easy off oven cleaner, dish washing gloves, and a tooth brush. :)
I did it out doors so the fumes wouldn't make me too loopy, but I'm sure I still killed off a good amount of brain cells.

Love to bring up old threads ....

What are the $60-70 in upgrades you'd recommend for the ST?

Also, what happened to one18th.com? Weird.
