What weight shock pil are you running in your MT

Just inquiring as to your set ups..I will be bashing only w/my t-maxx..it will probably weigh 12+ lbs. (I am using Ofna shocks..8). Also, what 1/8 shocks will fit on this truck. I am getting tired of servicing 8 socks:whip:

I used 50wt on my BPP and MBX5T just because it was all I had and it works great as I went with stiffer springs . I've seen a few people go with the Ofna 1/8 scale shocks (The long 4" ones I think) for their T or E-maxx.

i use 45wt with my xxtra stiff trinity blue shocks. i like it for what i do.

50wt fronts and 45 wt in the rears for my tmaxx with UE/ofna 1/8 scale shocks.

I use 45wt but am going up to 50 soon.

you should beable to use any front 1/8th scale shocks, because I used rears on my MGT, but they were to long which caused me to remount them. fronts should be about right.

If I go to 1/8 shocks, will 4 be enough or should I stay w/ 8

dirt101 06.08.2008 09:40 PM

I say run 8 of them. they really dont weigh much and its only about $40 more to just finish out the set.

problem is the shocks may be to wide to fit them all into the a-arm.

4 ofna 1/8 shock 13lbs maxx - 50WT for track, 60WT for heavy bashing
now 11lbs maxx with 4 8-ight shocks - 50WT for track
