balancing tap questions
I have an Icharger 106b which uses jst-xh tapps. Here is the bat I just bought along with a jst-xh tap with wires. http://www.rc-dymond.com/index.php?productID=1447 Question is what wires go where? I know where the positive and negative are and where they go on the jst-xh tap but I'm lost on where the middle wires go. Any help would be great.

balancing connector for 5S consist of 1 red and 5 black (or any other color in caseof many batteries with JST-XH connector)
they have to be in correct order - RED and all black with having 3.7V when measuring two adjacent wires. it should be in the charger manual |
I checked and didn't see anything in the cd but will check again. Can you tell from the pic what connector that is? If I know that and find an adapter pic that would really be a big help.

How's this charger? I'm looking at getting one,do I need an adapter to balance a PolyQuest pack?
|
I really like it. It chargers my 4S,5S,and 6S really well. One thing I will warn you about is that on 6S charging over 3amps(ish) the screen goes blank. It freaked me out at first but seems to work normal. When the lipo is almost full and the amps trickle down the sreen comes back to normal. I added a 40mm 12v fan on the side and had the internal one running constant and nothing changed. Other then that I really like it but I thought I would tell you.

Are the JST taps same as Hyperion/PQ taps? Does anyone make adapters?
|
They are different. The jst-xh which the charger uses are more commonly called align tap. They are easy to find just make sure you get a male jst-xh(align) male end.

Cool thanks
