driveshaft

what is the best (strongest) brand of axle for the e-maxx. a couple of months ago I put steel axles in my truck and a couple of days ago after placing a feigao 7xl and 4s in the truck I snapped the axle. I am not concerned with cost just quality. I wasn't bashing just farting around in Iraqi sand.

Is that the center shafts or the driveshafts. I'm using 8mm UE cvds and UE titanium centers with my Neu 1515 1Y on 6S.

The longer of the two center driveshafts is titanium the other is the original plastic slider which also broke. The axles are steel only one of those broke. Do you recomend the UE brand?

UE 8mm cvds and a set of UE Ti centers is the best driveline available.

Prob is finding them, they're not made anymore, so you have to get lucky and find set used. Ck Ebay or BST forum on UE.

Thanks for the reply. I am going to start looking, maybe something will pop up.

This is for the old emaxx right? Just thinking about the knuckles and driveshaft compatibilty. Have you seen these:

Clicky

Cant speak for the quality, but they look plenty beefy.

What a coincidence you sent me that. I just checked them out and was about to ask if anyone had ever used them. They look beefy enough to take an all alluminum truck under brushless power. I like the fact they utilize the slider function. I might have to get em, try em, and try to break em. then give my report. Thanks
