Help With CC BEC

Got a Castle BEC hooked up which is in the battery slot on my RX. When I plug the battery in, the connectors let off a spark. Is this doing damage? Is there a way to get around this?

thats normal, some people have itstalled a capacitor to help

so the spark is in the reciever??? that prolly isnt the best thing. if its just when you plug it in directly (if you do for some reason?) then that would be fine... but thats a bit weird.

It sparks at the deans plugs when connecting the battery
