Mamba Max runs Hot!
 

After my MMM failed this morning I put my Mamba Max in to replace it in my Losi 8T and ran it on 3s with a Neu 1515/1.5/d/f and it overheated bigtime.Now this same MM was in my CRT.5 with a Neu 1512/1.5d/f 3s and it didnt overheat.It was hot enough to mess with the servos I suspect the internal BEC was overheated.And of course the 8T weighs alot more than the CRT.5

thats alot of amps for the poor MM. maybe try adding a fan. then add an external BEC. and if thats not enough go up to 4s if possible, and gear down.
