Hey guys I am back

I am back. After being sick and being on the road I am back. My truck is now completed with GA bulks and diff cups, Maximizer diffs, and CVDs all around. I will have pics up later today.:D

Glad to have you back. I was wondering what happened to you. lookin' forward to the new pictures!

I had to do some traveling and it kept me off the maxx but I finally got it done. I think I may have to get my rear bulks redrilled. It seems to have a bind with the hinge pin and wont allow for smooth suspension movement.

Welcome back. Lets see some pics.

That is one of the nicest e-maxxes I have seen. Very nicely done. The only thing that stands out to me is the Tamiya connectors on the batteries and speed controller. I highly recommend switching over to Dean's. The stock connectors are innefficient and will wear quickly. You will notice a performance increase when going to the Dean's (assuming you have good batteries). Otherwise, that is ine h*** of a G-maxx!

Thanks Mike. I will be upgrading the connectors here soon. I havent totally ran the truck yet. It was only used to center the steering and the shifter servos. Also to make sure that i put the diffs on right. The awesome thing about the GA diff cases is that I didnt have to shim a whole lot. I use only 1 teflon shim and its perfect. Now I have to look for a new spur. I read somewhere that the hv maxx are tearing up the stock spurs. Strobe may be coming soon.

The user errors is what tears up the stock spur gears! Tighten the slipper all the way down and set your mesh properly and the spur gears will last a very long time. It is usually a poor mesh or a loose slipper that does the spur gears in.

Yeah I have it tightened all the way down right now and the mesh is just enough to pass a piece of paper through without tearing it.

Sweet looking maxx - def change those connectors to deans - like mike said - there is a big difference in the connectors...I like the way that fan is mounted on the speed controller. AWESOME and NEAT....
