Need a ESC capable of handling the Neu 1515 1.5d at the race track

What ESC should I buy that will hold up to competitive racing? I was using a MMM on my 1515 1.5d but it let out the magic smoke before my first heat last night and I have not been able to find a spare to keep on hand so I was SOL. I would love to just get an ESC I don't have to worry about, water resistant would be nice as well, if possible.

What to buy? I would like to keep it as close to 250 as possible, but I'm not set to a price.

This is what I was looking at; MGM Compro 160 amp, 18 cell brushless car controller. The most I run is 6s, and actually 4s is what I run most of the time.

Mamba Max is apparently good on 4s. A cap, fan and BEC and if all the reports are anything to go by it should perform admirably.

You’ll need to go with a MGM..
I've got the MGM compro and love it!, I’ve run it on 8s a few times, 6s is the norm and I’ve never had an issue (1) since it's been updated. I've got two other MGM ESC and again they all work great, no issues at all other than the initial programming / setup..

Have a great one.

It looks like they are out of stock? when will they back in stock? I need asap.

Tekin R1 Pro. Runs the Neus smoothly, and will handle up to 5s for sure. Some have said it will handle 6s, but I don't have experience. It's small, too. Perfect for squeezing in on your race chassis.

Well found someone with a new MMM, so it's en route.. I'll be back in business, then when castle gets my toasted MMM back in working order (or a new one) I'll have a spare to avoid this lay over in the future.

Good luck with the MMM Strum.. I hope it holds out for you..

Are you going to install an external BEC?.

have a great one.
