alright, i'm pretty excited b/c after extensive testing, tweaking, breaking, brashing (bashing and racing ), crashing, more breaking, jumping, testing, and even more breaking and brashing.....i've finally finished my 8ight and it's whole setup (minus the MMM :whip: :mdr:that's being repaired but the MM works just fine )with the help of many of the topics on this forum and its members I present to you all.....the LOSI L8IGHT (i choose late 8ight b/c it took me sooo long)....

here's the 8ight with it's painted body complete w/ xxx main decals
Attachment 4835

rcproduct designs battery tray/rc-monster motor mount/neu 1515 1/y/f/mm esc with fan and cap, ziptied down to a stand made out of lexan...

Attachment 4836

better picture of the stand....i got this idea from one of the forum posts here but i forgot where....

Attachment 4838

and the CC bec is wrapped in the wire shroud...

Attachment 4837

i also cut out the side of the rx box to take the strain off of the wires by giving them a bigger hole to extend out of....
With my extremely bad driving and even worse landings i've bent hundreds of the inner and outer hinge pins however, the m2c racing pins work the best and have lasted the longest.....
Let me know what you guys think....
My final setup is:
Neu 15151/y/f
MM esc with fan and cap
CC BEC
Hi-tec 5645MG servo
Spektrum dx3.0 w/ sr3000 rx
I have m2c racing inner and outer hinge pins....5k front, 10k center, 3k rear...
and the lipos i've used that fit without hitting the body are Thunderpower 4s 5000mah extreme series...maxamps 4s 5000mah lipos....and the truerc 4s 5000mah lipos but you have to mount it on its side towards the center differential, the neuenergy 4s 5000mah lipos hit the body but not too much....
