Would a Medusa 60mm 2000kv be considered an "upgrade" from a 9xl

All in all is the Medusa motor(60mm 2000kv) better than a 9xl... I am seriously considering getting one

I have a Medusa 2000 and an 8xl.The Medusa is way better IMO.It's faster has more torque and it runs cooler.

I have a medusa 2000 on the way, is the medusa cooler then a 8xl even without a heat sink?

Yes.Right now my 8xl is in my 3905 emaxx geared for about 35 and the Medusa is in my Erevo geared for about 40,both on 4s.Neither have a heat sink and the Medusa runs cooler.
