Novak brushless kit

I just had to buy one to see what's in it. I hope they sell the battery holders separately

I got side tracked before I took more pic's. I'll get some more tomorrow.

The battery trays are right and lefts too by the way

tc3_racer_001 06.24.2008 04:27 AM

I WANT SOME! bet they are going to be expensive, and they wont fit my a123, but they are exactly what i need... and $100 for mike to do them custom is just too much (for me, but not for his time or products!!!

DRIFT_BUGGY 06.24.2008 06:28 AM

They do look nice, do you have to drill holes to mount them to the chassis?

NovakTwo 06.24.2008 11:25 AM

The press release for the conversion kit replacement parts should be going out this week. The battery boxes will be sold as a pair, since they are right and left. I believe that the LP for the pair is about $50.00.

rschoi_75 06.24.2008 01:24 PM

They look ok, but it looks like the length will limit your choices to 140mm and under. If that's the case, I'll just keep using traxxas battery holders at only $10 a pop. If I need a longer one, I'll buy mike's.

Desmo 06.24.2008 09:14 PM

50.00 a pair is too much for thin plastic holders. Maybe the street price will be less. They do look good, I'll see how they hold up in my elst

Looks like a nice tray. I'd like to see the rest of the kit, too.

Did you know there is a huge cut in the insulation of the positive lead on your 2s2p? :oh:

Tray's mounted on my elst. They include hardware for mounting and a post or one end so you can use a body clip to close them. I used longer bolts so my huge 3s maxamps will fit.

Very nice!

The material used to make the battery boxes and straps is glass-filled nylon, not plastic.

I noticed when I installed them that they are not plastic. They are very nice, just alittle spendy.
