Speedpassion GT

Just got a speedpassion gt in the mail, seems easy enough to program with plenty of options. Anybody here used one yet? Gripes so far- double tap reverse that is really a triple tap. 2s lipo max in brushed mode (per instructions at least). Program "box" is difficult to keep RX wire in. Comes with feigao stickers inside. Whats that Schumacher, speedpassion has nothing to do with feigao? You might want to ask them to put a different sticker set inside then!

Gonna try it out in some fast vehicles, and with a sensored motor to see how well it works. Also get some drag brake action in the crawler and see what happens. The double tap reverse will make it a no-go for comp use, but maybe ok in a scale rig and basher.

On another note speedpassion.com has ripped off the name of my crawler motor line. I sell Crawlmasters. They are selling Crawler Masters :whip: Too bad they think a sensorless inrunner will start up well enough to work. Hopefully they get a real crawler to test it before sending them and being laughed out of the crawling market.

I am guessing the feigao stickers go with their motors, which I am sure are made by feigao. The esc is a hobbywing, and I am sure that Lutach will have something to say...

HAHA, I got to name drop for a change, everyone else always does that with me...

Speed Passion will get a surprise when I receive some new stuff. Speed Passion messed up by going with Schumacher as the Schumacher boys started making up stuff about the Speed Passion GT. Speed Passion took your name for your crawler motor line? They just went low on that one. When Schumacher brings it to the US, you can get your lawyer on the case . Contact Feigao if you want the low speed 550 motor.

The crawling segment is so tight that I probably won't even need a lawyer for the issue, but I do wonder how close the name can be before trademark infringement occurs.

All I can say is if everything that I'm supposed to be getting, gets to me, we will all be happy . I got some new esc and motors coming soon. It's all looking good so far, but I will have to wait and see if the companies will provide. If everything gets here before the next bash at the Barn, I'll showcase them.
