Revo wheel offset?

For picking up a set of tires (most likely Badlands MT) and a set of Maxx wheel with 17mm hex do I want to get the wheels with the standard or half-offset?

Thanks.

I was in the same boat I put out a couple of posts and IMs and I finally ordered 2 different sets...I got a set of Crimfighter LPRs they claim to balloon less due to shorter sidewalls and a set of Maximizer beadlocks and Badlands...some advice I got was the Crimfighters are better for racing

Have you got a chance to try out the Badlands yet? A lot of people saying they really like them.

Which wheel offset did you get though? Standard or half?

I went w/ the 1/2" offset proline dish a seen on photopucket here http://s300.photobucket.com/albums/n...t=MOV03432.flv Turning sharp on asphalt it did slowly come up on the two right side tires, but I saved it easily. I was a little disappointed in the badlands grass traction, my old spiked Maxx Mulchers rip it up!

I went with the 1/2" to give it a wider stance considering the tires are more narrow than the stockers I havnt recieved the tires yet they should be here in the next couple of days

1/2 offset

For bashing the 1/2 offset give a little more stability, but on the track I prefer the standard offset. It gives a little better turning wiht the narower track width, especially if you have a tighter more techinical track.

Get ready to balance some tires, mine were way lopsided. The worst I've seen.

Went to the LHS today during lunch to see what they had. They didn't have the badlands in stock, but they had just got in a bunch of pre-mounted HPI Phatlines.

Mounted them up tonight and they run pretty smooth and balanced. Can't wait until after work tomorrow - the soon-to-be-wifey has an after work event - so I get to bring the fleet out to the park after work for a workout :party:

The new maxx/Revo wheels are -1/2" offset, that means they mount closer to the outside of the wheel that standard wheels. I personally run +1/2" wheels and love the 2"added track it gives me either bashing or racing

I would like to see Badland tires mounted on LPR rims, I just recieved the LPR Crimefighters and I would like to have a little more of an aggresive tread for bashing
