Neu 1515 Series fit in VXL?

Does anyone know if the neu 1515 series motor can fit in the stock vxl transmission? if it fits... it seems like it'll be limited to gearing since theres not much room left for adjustments...

I think it might.

Why? You'll never keep the front wheels on the ground even if you had a prayer of keeping the drivetrain together.

LMAO!

I bet you if you put a 5 lb weight on the front of the truck it'll still wheelie. Maybe even with a 8 lb weight. lol

you will want to go with a 1509 can that would be plenty of power, in my expierence you can have too much power and your tires ballon too much and the truck is out of control and you are no longer having any fun...

i would suggest a 1509/1y or 1509/2d...kv rating on both motors are 3300-3500 kv and would rock on 4s

^^^Much better idea.^^^

A 1515 in a vxl rustler/pede/bandit would be equivalent to shoving your drive train into a garbage disposal.

Basically the equivelant of doing this with your drivetrain.

indeed..

andy85 06.27.2008 07:41 PM

only because i'm going to upgrade my revo... so wont be needing it for the time being. For the spare 1515, its going into the stampede. If it fits, i know i WILL limit the power to those motors or else i could imagine nasty things happening :(

ill take it if u wanna give it away :D
