snowmobile
I am wanting to buy/ make a snowmobile for this winter. Could someone point me in any direction. i want it to be electric for sure if that is possible. Please let me know
if im not mistaken somebody makes skis for the front a a e-maxx or other comperable trucks....
I mean an actual snowmobile. track and all
not sure of an electric but there was a company that made a nitro one...
if you bought the kit what motor and controller would you put int it?
From a reliability standpoint, I would go with the SS1 Fine Design sells, and a waterproof esc from RC-HYdros.com. Andy at rc-hydros doesn't list them, but he will make you one to suit your needs. By the way, his controllers are just about near bulletproof.
is that motor that comes with it brushed?
Yes a speed 700 size motor.
They're cool.I could of done with one of those last winter,i had to be dug out of my house, the 12 foot drifts would have made good jumps.Would have needed snow shoes though.
The skis on the front of the maxx with paddles on the back works good too though.http://www.beatyourtruck.com/prodreview-FFRC-SKIS.html I just searched t-maxx skis on google, not that i normally visit BYT you understand. I'd just adapt a maxx, maybe dually adapters with 4 paddles on the back. |
There was one called the "Art Attack" a while ago, kinda dissappeared though, no idea what happened. There was a E and a nitro version, RC Car Action tested the nitro one and said it was cool.
