Flightpower charging???

I just saw this warning for a flightpower battery pack. "NEVER Charge through the "To ESC or "DISCHARGE" lead". That really shocked me. Whenever I charge my lipos I charge it through my deans plug, but it is a balancing charger, so it is balancing through the balancing tab at the same time. Would that harm a flightpower pack?

Thank you ahead of time for your help.

I charge and balance at the same time with my Flightpower pack. I have never ever heard that this is bad... and my pack is still running/working great!

Unless the pack has some sort of saftey discharge curcuit in it (small electrifly lipos have this IIRC) I see no reason not to use the mail leads for the charge while balancing thru the tap. I will say that most balancer leads are twwo small to handle more than 2 amp charge rate. Any more and the connectors and wires may melt. So you have to use the main leads to charge the lipo, if you want to go over 2 amps. I charge all of my lipos (inc fp) with a charge thru balancer that uses the main leads and the tap.

Thank you for your help. I was also wondering if anyone was aware of a lipo case thats big enough for a flight power, and where to buy it.

Thank you
