My BL E-Revo
Here are the details of my newest project:
Mamba Max CC BEC 2 2s Trakpower 4900 in series Feigao 7XL Stock 19/68 gearing Various Upgraded Parts Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. Will have video and better pics soon. looks nice, the motor you are running pulls a lot of amps and will run hot if you can a better motor would be a 9XL
I see a regular Mamba Max? Looks good, in any case.
Sorry meant mamba max...
The motor is about perfect in here. Doesn't get overheated. The speed control isn't hardly phased at all. It's a great combo. |
So with the stock gearing and the 7xl, it runs good.....and the temps are within range, and no issues with esc...?
Nice mod to make the TrakPower's work...mine wasn't quite so clean...
Very nice and tidy setup
Looks good...every time I see an E-Revo...that funny little voice in my head says... BUY ME, BUY ME, BUY ME...

My Fedex tracking number says that it's "Out for Delivery" on the truck today! I'm a little on the edge of my seat. |
I agree, i want an e-revo too. I try to stay away form any e-revo threads to keep me form the impulse buy.
Thanks for the compliments.
Yea it runs great on stock gearing. Faster than a stock nitro revo 3.3 in acceleration and top speed. Stuff gets hot but not any hotter than it is supposed too. My mamba max got hotter pushing a CM36 5700kv in my stampede than it does in this. |
It is v/hard when my kid looks at it and says " Dad why don't we both get one"
hmm..i dint know it was even possible to run the 7xl without having heat probs. your lucky to be not having issues. i have the 7xl /mmm geared 24/68 and i needa take breaks every 10 mins to cool the sucker down. and i dont even bash hard haha.
hes got fans on it...but that serves to cool the can of the motor the interior of the motor will still be hot
