I need a new ESC
 

My 9918 is officially dead. I want to thank Mike for trying to fix the problem but it's time to buy again. I have a 9L motor and usually run 12-18 cells with hopes of getting some LiPO batts in the spring. Should I stay with the 9920 or move up to another esc? I would like to stay in the ballpark for price, but what do I really gain from moving to a more expensive control. Do I simply need to look at the amps that the motor pulls, and compare that with the maximum amps the control will provide? Any thoughts on the subject would be helpful, so thanks in advance.

i would stick with the 9920.
