calling on everyone here to stand and show unity
 

Okay off road racing fans got seriously left out to dry here. NBC had a race scheduled to be broadcast a 3pm ET. Well due to stupid tennis getitng delayed because of rain and also having another delay during the game NBC decided to call off the racing broadcast. At no point did NBC ever have a banner, or ever a quick announcement or anything to say the broadcast was called off. Instead we found out 10 seconds before they cut to volleyball that the race has been called off or even if it was rescheduled. Instead quite a fe wfans sat through 2 hours of tennis getitng angry each passing minute. All NBC had to due was tell us the broadcast was called off. THEY NEVER DID ANYTHING. I do not care if I get thrown off this site for this. I dont care about getitng any warning or anything. But I am calling on everyone here to unite and BOYCOTT NBC.

That was possibly the greatest Wimbledon final in history.. no way there were going tocut away. Too bad about the offroad tho, its better than beach volleyball. I guess just enjoy the F1 racing on ABC

As much as I love our hobby, there is no way that NBC would leave Wimbledon.
That being said, I agree that some sort of announcement should have been made. Unfortunately, the small fish get left out.:tongue:

im sure they will show it later or you will be able to see the highlights on the internet.

no reason to boycott sucha huge station. what happens when the next offroad race is on NBC? you going to be stubborn and not watch it?

nope. corr series full size off road racing. more angry aobut the idiots not telling anyone.

i waited throught the tennis also only to findout they werent gonna air the CORR race pretty disappointing but hey they show it agian, and the tennis match was pretty good btw.

If it were between CORR, and two guys making loud grunting noises while hitting a little ball back and forth, I would rather watch CORR. Women's tennis, on the other hand...

I agree there should have been some sort of announcement made. Maybe, as I'm sure thousands of fans already have, you could send them an e-mail and vent your anger in the right direction.
