Mugen MBX5T vs Losi 8ight-T

Both truggies are my favorite and would like to know which one you guys like better for handling, smoothness, layout, design, preformance, weight, and overall your opinion on both and why you like one better than the other. I would be able to save for the 8ight-T in a week or so but would be able to by the 5T right off the bat and spend the extra money from the 5T on upgrades. So what do you guys think would be a better conversion?:yipi:

I hear they are both very good. Personally i would go with the mbx because i am not real fond of losis durability.

Ya I definately need durability seeing that this isnt going to be a race project, just a light basher lots of high jumps project...

I've went head on with the curb twice with my MBX5T and it's still going strong.

Mugen all the way, my friend.

If the Tamiya TRF801X were available right now, I would've recommended it over those two.
You just can't go wrong with Tamiya. Or should I say: Tamiya courses through my veins.

8T is the racer and has an offset diff which makes the battery tray mounting easy (mike runs one)

MBX5T is very capable (i liked my MSR) but seemed more "industrial" than race horse

both trucks are racers and very durable.

Go with mugen as 8t does not have stiff springs enough available for bashing IMHO.
