Medusa Motors End Bell Question

Do the medusa motors need any mods to keep end bell from poping off etc or is this not a problem with them....I thought I read somewhere someone using few drops of CA to hold motor end bell together as a precaution...

I thought the medusa's were rebuildable. If that is correct then ther endbell will be held on with screws, and you will have no problems with that.

Please correct me if I am wrong

The back endbell kept popping off on mine, so I just used some CA glue around the edges of the cap and so far it's been doing just fine.

The front has no endbell- it's a part of the can/is the can.

So are the endbells of medusa motors pressed like all of the chinese motors? I was planning on getting a 36-60 2000kv motor, should I rethink my choices?

Why not just use the RC Monster heatsink clamp. It would work the same for these motors as it does for the Feigao's

I was thinking that also. It actually looks like Mike is making one for the medusa's. Because there is a "L" size heatsink anodized blue.

Mine popped off from a 50 mph cartwheel/crash (Rustler was A-ok!). At the worst, simply put some CA glue on the cap, and stick it back on. That's all. Or like dadgummit said, just use an RC monster heatsink clamp.

I will most likely buy the motor for my upcoming hyper st pro and run it with the rcm blue heatsink/clamp.
