CastleLink MM Issue! "Please Help"

My friend BL_RV0 here on the RCM forums says he cant program his MM threw castlelink on his comp and couldnt program his previous MM either. Is their anyway he can get around this issue? Could it be a bug? He says he's tried two comps and two MM's with the same castle link and nothing... All help would be greatly appreciated.

with the same castle link is this a mamba or monster max? if its a MMM then try a different castle link, thats all i can say, if its a mamba max then try disabling anything which may control or take over the usb ports and firewalls (preventing certain functions possibly needed?) and trying that.

Thats what I thought it was... Theirs something blocking the usb ports.

BL_RV0 07.11.2008 07:48 PM

I get red connection squares.... The power switch on the esc is broken, so I can't do that. Now, I shredded one of Mike's bore reducers... I'd take a pic but can't find my camera. God this ST is a nightmare.

The CC power switches are really brittle... I say just direct solder the positive and negative leads on the baord toghether or solder the positive and negative wire off the switch toghether.

I had the same on my company laptop - Ended up doing a clean XP install and then it worked fine...

so you are not even getting a USB connection than the switch wouldnt matter...have you tried all of your USB ports?

Mine will not run right with vista no matter what I do.Well I can load it and it works, but it puts an error message on my screen, thats says this program will not work with Vista. If I click it it unloads the program,if i just leave it alone then it lets me run it just by clicking the icon. But everytime my computer gets turned off it unloads.
