Replacement Rotor For Feiago L

Anyone know if you can get one?

The shaft just snapped off the end of mine

All of the rotors are the same, the windings determine the kv...

i knew that... ahh brushed motors!!!! get out of my head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a 10l with rcm heatsink if ur interested.. but mines 5mm shaft

If not, maybe one of the cheap nasty L can motors from ebay or hobby city would work for a donar rotor?...

brushlessboy16 07.12.2008 07:47 PM

wont they be 5mm too?

suicideneil 07.12.2008 08:02 PM

Some are, some arent. You can find XL motors with a 1/8" shaft if you look around abit.

brushlessboy16 07.12.2008 08:17 PM

hmm i could use one..

Man, I wish there was a source for Feigao rotors. Then I'd have three-four more functioning motors!

suicideneil 07.13.2008 04:28 PM

I'd be inclined to say the hobbyshitty () motors would be a good replacement rotor source- same size as the feigao motors- S, L & XL- but only $20-30... Performance is great, but temps are a bit high, but thats more to do with the windings than the magnet I'd guess.

MetalMan 07.13.2008 11:36 PM

The rotors on the Hobbycity motors tend to be one-piece magnets, as opposed to the multi-magnet Feigao rotors.

suicideneil 07.14.2008 12:10 PM

Ah, fair point. Is that really a bad thing though, since the feigaos like to split apart quite often, where as a single magnet would be unable to fail in such a manner; more likely to just shatter into a million little bits...
