mm trouble no throttle /brake! from motor
 

ok today i gave my pede a lash i had it geared 26 /86 on 4s on a 9L i know probably overgeared now had no temp gauge with me had everything else
but i know it was getting hot anyhow before i stopped playing
it just stopped dead also i run rx pack

now the mm wont sent power to the motor it lights up and flashes to indicate its sending a signal green light flashes for accel and red for brake but motor does not go
i re calibrated it /changed to mamba 7700 and still no go i even down graded to a lower firmware
it steers but no motor power

You said that you tried a different motor w/no go correct? Have you checked ALL of you soldier joints to make sure that one has not come loose. Especially check the motor leads from the esc as well as the esc leads from the board itself. Do you have another esc you can try? If it just stopped dead, you could have internal probs. w/the board itself. Is the esc a newer version of the mm?

the joints seem fine
as well as all leads i do not a have another speedy to try i only have mm at the moment
the mm esc is dated 04 07
but if i smell (lol)the brain board its smells like an something may have fried but the board looks fine maybe its a fet ? underneath
i only just started really enjoying this esc too

Yep... You have 2 choices, contact GriffinRu... just PM him...he is THE man when it comes to repairing them and modding them as well. Or, you can send it back to CC. (GriffinRu may be a shorter window as far as repair time goes ) I know what it is like when you just start to have fun and then POOF...it really sucks:tongue: Best of luck

try to rebind the ESC to Rx...this has happened to me in the past in rebinding helped

imo unless upgrading get it done from castle, it should be quick, i sent mine in and its being sent out this week, so it would have only taken 2 or less weeks to fix/replace :)

ok today i was filling out the castle return form and thought i'd better re check the mm to see if it may work again
i tried recalibrating the motors a feigao 9L and a 7700 castle and it work partially work
like the green calibrate for fwd the red calibrated for brake but it work continue to blink amber and not finish just stayed blinking
all through the process the motor beeps were there
so i just kept on re-calibrating it :whip:
it works completely like their was nothing wrong:oh: :great:
it cant just revive itself
could it be barely passing current to the motor some how
or did it get scared of going back to its original birth place:lol:
i have not tried it in the pede yet but i will tomorrow
on another note i ordered a mm on monday now i have 2
come on mike i need a 36 60 size medusa, revo mount and pinions from you
any one know when the afterburners are due :whistle:

just took it for a lash on some soccer fields under lights all seems fine no problems at all with esc the 9L makes a slight sort off grind noise but i need a new motor anyhow
